Services Reporting

Prepare, Deliver, and Create reports based on a flexible report authoring and runtime environment using XML as the report definition language.

The CSD-SDP Reporting engine provides an open flexible framework designed to provide out of the box reports and a report authoring capability which uses XML to express the report contents and layout.

Reports can be optimized for their intended display device such as cell phones, graphical displays, or HTML to allow for the seamless delivery of reports to a resellers preferred device.

The reporting system uses the CSD-SDP, which includes a strict data access layer to ensure anyone authoring a report doesn't have to consider user level access restrictions to specific fields in the database - if the CSD-SDP determines a user isn't permitted to see a given field it will be redacted in the rendered report.

FEATURES:

Report Generation - Reports can be generated for various types of display devices such as cell phones, email clients, mobile devices, and graphical display devices. This feature allows the report author to optimize the arrangement of information for a given target device.

Report Authoring - The reporting system uses XML as the definition language and provides an open solution upon which any style of reports can be added to the environment without programming resources.

Data Exports - Reports can be written which permit the extraction of any data from the CSD database resulting in the ability to mine data from the system using tools like Microsoft Excel.

Scheduled Reports - Reports can be scheduled to run at regular intervals.

Branding - The standard reports provided with the system are easy to brand with any look-and-feel - including a custom logo and other corporate artwork.

Syndication - Reports will automatically inherit views of business units based on the CSD-SDP configuration. Each business unit can have a set of branded reports to allow each reseller or partner to have completely customized reports.
